Michael T. McCarty
Principal Land Planner
Mr. McCarty, as principal of McCarty & Associates Land Planning and Design LLC, has been instrumental in implementing sound planning practices and innovative design strategies to create sustainable communities for complex projects both public and private. He strives to improve the social fabric, environmental health and aesthetics of our communities throughout Florida. Mr. McCarty brings 18 years of professional experience. As a seventh generation Floridian, his local knowledge, experience and relationships with government employees and elected officials allows for efficient navigation through the approval process in a cost effective and timely manner.

Dawn V. Gilmore
Senior Planner
Ms. Gilmore started her planning career in 2001 working in the Planning/Growth Management Department alongside of the Planning Manager at St. Lucie County.
After several years working her way up the ladder there, she was recruited by the private sector where she worked as a Senior Planner until 2009.
In 2010 she decided to continue her planning career as a freelance Planning Consultant for several different planning firms where she has remained since.
Ms. Gilmore has over 16 years of land planning experience in Martin County, St. Lucie County, Indian River County, and Okeechobee County, as well as several other jurisdictions.
Daniel Sugg
Director of Landscape Architecture
Daniel was born and raised on the Treasure Coast. Growing up outdoors and in the water, he was shaped by the natural environment. His love for Florida flora and fauna guided him to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue Landscape Architecture. Daniel graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture summa cum laude in 2011. Since graduation Daniel has had the opportunity toworkunder some the area’s best and most influential landscape architects.Daniel is the new Director of Landscape Architecture forMcCarty & Associates. Daniel has worked on a variety of projects ranging from single family residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. His goal is creating experiences through the creative and thoughtful planning and design of spaces.
